Gayà: “Aguirre is a very demanding coach with experience in LALIGA. I am convinced that we are going to overcome this situation”

Our captain, José Luis Gayà, received the award from the Association of Small Shareholders (APAVCF) for his career at Valencia CF. At the event, the Pedreguer-born player spoke to the media.

Individual moment

“I am doing very well, I am in a good moment now, after this start. In a career there are more difficult moments, easier moments, times when things go well and other times when they don’t, but now things are going to start going better, we have the whole season ahead of us and we will surely look ahead.”

First days with Aguirre

“The truth is, very well, he has been very demanding from the first day. He is a coach with a lot of experience, he knows LALIGA very well, that is very important, and I am convinced that we are going to move forward and, in the first match after the break, at El Sardinero, we are looking forward to facing it. It is going to be a special match and we are going for them.”

Renewal

“Of course I would like to. Braulio already said it. For the moment, there has been no conversation. Now, the most important thing is the team, that we are all focused on getting out of this situation. All the energy has to be focused on that.”

Copa del Rey match against UE Tavernes de la Valldigna

“My brother told me this morning. I am very happy because it is very close to home (Pedreguer) and I know that a lot of people are Valencia CF fans. It will be a special match.”
